Music and Literacy Ideas From Mrs. Lange
Students learn about composers and their music as well as learn literacy.
Here is the list of composers with their literacy components:
Ludwig van Beethoven - Numerical order (first, second, third,...)
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - -ay words
Peter Tchaikovsky - -oy words
Frederic Chopin - -ing words
Scott Joplin - past tense verbs (-ed)
Jacques Offenbach - -ump words
The Beethoven Jukebox, the Tchaikovsky Jukebox, and the Joplin Jukebox are just more recordings by those composers.
